Bachstraße 5, 10555 Berlin, Germany
Email: Info@MeyerIT.net
2. Scope
This notice applies to the use of MeyerIT.net and to communications through the contact options provided. Separate client engagements may involve additional contractual provisions and privacy information.
3. Hosting and technical access data
The website is hosted using Infomaniak. When it is accessed, technically necessary data such as IP addresses, timestamps, requested resources, browser/device details and server response information may be processed to deliver pages, resolve errors and prevent misuse.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (security and stability). Technical log retention follows the applicable hosting settings. The actual retention of technical hosting logs depends on the configuration and retention settings applied by Infomaniak.
4. Emails and business enquiries
If you email us, we process your address and message to respond to your enquiry. This is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual communication, or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR where appropriate. Statutory retention obligations may require processing under Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
Providing personal details in an enquiry is generally voluntary. Without a valid means of reply and sufficient information about your request, we cannot process it. The website does not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.
5. Contact form
The optional form processes your name, email address, optional company name, subject and message. A short-lived, strictly necessary session may be used to protect the form against automated abuse. The form sends messages through authenticated email delivery. Technical validation and short-lived session information are used to protect against automated submissions.
6. Cookies, analytics and third-party content
The planned basic website does not use analytics or advertising cookies, tracking tools or externally served fonts. Necessary session data may be used solely to protect the contact form, if enabled. Any future technology requiring consent will be assessed under Section 25 TDDDG and the GDPR before use.
7. Service providers and transfers
Hosting and business email infrastructure are provided by Infomaniak in Switzerland. Where service providers process personal data on our behalf, we use the relevant contractual and legal safeguards. The European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision covering Switzerland.
8. Retention
We retain personal data only as long as needed for the stated purposes, legitimate handling of enquiries or applicable statutory retention requirements. The actual periods depend on the nature of the correspondence and whether a contractual relationship follows. Business correspondence and invoicing records may be subject to statutory retention periods. Server log periods depend on actual hosting settings.
9. Your rights
Subject to statutory conditions, you have rights of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). Consent may be withdrawn for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority (Art. 77), such as the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
10. Effective date
18 October 2026. Changes in the technical setup or processing activities will be reflected in this notice.
